The path to the formation of Latvia has been long and not always easy, but horses have always been by the side of Latvian people, they have helped in work and given encouragement through struggles. The programme of the event leads the viewer through time depicting the relationship between humans and horses from the beginnings of the domestication of horses to the role of horses in the modern industrial world.

• 15.00 Performance by “Ekvi” club students
• 15.30 For the first time in Latvia — “Pony Beauty Contest”! The winner of the contest will be determined by a specially selected jury
