Both on Saturday and Sunday, Vērmanes Garden Park territory will be filled with a multitude of activities for families and children. Visitors will be able to create art from flowers and handmade flower labyrinths in artistic workshops. Moreover, taking into account the history of chess at Vērmanes Garden Park and its everyday presence there, in cooperation with Latvian Chess Federation, both professionals and amateurs will be able to partake in a tournament or learn how to play chess.
Visitors of Vērmanes Garden Park and its territory will be entertained by “Garden Festival Orchestra” (Dārza svētku orķestris), as well as a street theater artist group from Germany, Russia, and Israel with a performance called “Lost ‘WSheels of Time”.
The first half of the day, children and youth collectives will perform, therefore, you can expect plays and concerts for the youngest crowd members. Saturday evening Vērmanes Garden Park stage will come alive with retro music, tango, and violin.
