This year during Riga City Festival, the atmosphere and local cultural entertainment spots of Riga parks of the 20’s and 30’s will be recreated as if through magic. An eight-member jazz improvisation virtuoso group from Austria, “Streetview Dixieclub” will entertain all guests in the spirit of New Orleans jazz. The group transforms each of its performances into a full-scale entertainment venue through traditional jazz humor and jokes.
The youngest festival attendees of Riga City Festival will have the opportunity to partake in a creative workshop: “Authentic Gardens of the 20th Century”. Each can acquaint oneself with historical city yard gardens and their enticing beauty, as well as participate in the planning of city green zones.
