From August 3rd to October 1st, visitors will be able to attend an exhibition “Children's World. 18th-20th Century” from the collections of fashion historian Alexandre Vassiliev and Latvian museums at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design.
Entry fee to the exhibition, on August 18th – 20th during Riga City Festival, will be especially friendly to families with children, no matter how many family members in your group: 1,50 EUR.
The exhibition will present the grand caprices and zigzags of children's fashion over the course of three centuries – beginning from the eras of rococo and the Empire, 19th century crinoline and Art Nouveau corset less garments to the astonishing plurality of styles of children's clothes in the 20th century.
