During the event, the Spilve Aerodrome will be open to the public. Event guests are welcome to observe different aircraft's and aviation technologies; get to know the pilots and watch breathtaking flying stunts in the sky. All stunts will be performed by top-notch Latvian pilots (with Latvian-built aircraft) as well as Lithuanian sportsmen, who are among the best aerobatic flying elite in the world. Don’t miss the impressive helicopter flying shows by the State Border Guard and the National Armed Forces of Latvia! Pilots from all over the Europe have been invited; guests will include sportsmen from Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Finland, Sweden and many more. Thanks to the international aspect of the event, visitors and local pilots will be able to discover the newest topics in aviation outside Latvia’s borders.
In case of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled for August 20th.
It is possible to get to Aerodrome Spilve by personal car, but keep in mind that the parking fee for the parking lot will be 2.00 EUR. With the use of public transport services you can get to Spilve Aerodrome:
